Hi, I really appreciate your post about Molly and writing him as nonbinary and using his proper pronouns. As a nonbinary person, I use her/she pronouns. I have many people tell me I am not truly nonbinary because I don’t use they/them and it is very frustrating and upsetting. Using people’s preferred pronouns honestly isn’t hard at all. I don’t understand why people have to have things in these boxes of only these things apply and if they don’t you aren’t valid.

I’m glad I could help. I’m currently conducting interviews of nonbinary people who use binary pronouns to write a longer article about it. If you’re interested in being included in those interviews, please contact me.
