Vivaldi Recomposed by Max Richter

This is WAY outside the usual scope of this blog, but have a peak into me as a person. Today I came across one of the most beautiful and powerful pieces of music I’ve ever heard and feel obliged to share it with EVERYONE: Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” recomposed by Max Richter. If I could capture everything Critical Role means to me in one piece of music, it’s this.

Not better but equal to the original.

A very reverent update that asks what the piece would sound like if it was composed
today with our techniques and ear. It makes the old new again. I hope
everyone in my house likes this piece because guess what’s going to be
playing loudly on repeat for the next week solid.

Max Richter is an incredible ambient electronica, post-classical, and soundtrack
classical composer. His work is often minimalist, experimental, and
avant-garde, while also being expansive and highly expressive.
