Host Brian Wayne Foster: “Alright, before we go tonight, I have some final thoughts. This week has been a tough one for many of us, and many of you, I’m sure. If there’s anything that sets this community apart, it’s the sense of acceptance, no matter how someone might look or act, or how they choose to live their life. People from literally all walks of life fire up their PS4s or laptops and watch Critical Role every week. The diversity of Critters is a pillar that holds the community up, and we need you now more than ever.
“When the world is filled with uncertainty, or we’re shackled by fear, we turn to what’s familiar, and the things that bring us together, and give us hope. Thousands of people tune in every week to follow the journey of these characters, but numbers really aren’t the only strength this community has. When someone needs help, you guys reach out. When someone’s getting shit on, you guys defend them. We’ve seen it happen time and time again, and I’m asking personally that you don’t stop, and don’t let it stop with just this show or this community. The world needs a lot of things right now, and you guys are the most important thing.
“Escaping reality probably isn’t as easy as it might’ve been a few weeks ago. We aren’t asking you to pretend that things are okay, because they aren’t. We’re just asking you to love each other through it. That’s what we want to be and do for you guys. So thank you.”
